Azmeena Bhanji

GM - Real Estate Developments PDM

Azmeena Bhanji is General Manager, Real Estate Developments (East Africa) for Property Management and Development (PDM) Holdings Limited, an affiliate of the Aga Khan Development Network.

A civil engineer and lawyer by profession, Azmeena has over 30 years of experience in public and private sector development and construction management.

Azmeena has consulted extensively on the effective use of project control and documentation systems to control project cost, time and quality.

Under her leadership, PDM has recently completed Vienna Court, a Grade A office development which has been pre-certified Gold by the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) – the first in its category in East Africa.

Azmeena has established an internal core team to focus on sustainable and green developments and mandated that every future PDM development will be green certified.
