Geocycle Coordinator, Bamburi Cement

Janet an industrial ecologist working with Bamburi  Cement. She holds a Business Degree from Strathmore University and she is a CPA Finalist. Currently she is  pursuing an MBA from the University of South Wales.

With main focus on Waste management and Renewable Energy, she has over 7 year experience working with Geocycle: a Waste Management company which is an affiliate of LafargeHolcim with a Mission to "A Zero waste future".

Other than her day to day work, she is in the Health and Safety, environmental and Energy committee. She was a secretary in the Waste Tyre Management Committee whose main focus was looking at the challenges that the country is facing in the disposal of  used tyres together with its regulation. She is well travelled and well acquainted with current developments in the green energy space having done Benchmarking with other countries including South Africa, Germany, Italy, Uganda, Tanzania and Morocco. She was among  the Kenya Business and Academic community representatives in the Technical Seminar on "Renewable Energies" in Bavaria-Germany in 2015.
